The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Washburn Cardinals to 29 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakes for a B Region 3 District 5 contest on Thursday, February 16.

The Cardinals (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Linton (Linton, ND). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
