Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) and the host Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), saw Trinity's basketball squad overcome Madison Central by a tally of 63-50.

With the victory, Trinity improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Atherton (Louisville, KY) to confront the Ravens in a District 27 challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Atherton won 67-64 in their recent non-league battle against Beth Haven (Louisville, KY)

The Indians (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Harlan County prevailed over Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 87-78, in a non-league battle.
