Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) and the host Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI), saw Manistee's basketball squad wallop Pine River Area by a tally of 60-24.

With the victory, Manistee improves its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Chippewas travel to Reed City (Reed City, MI) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Reed City lost 61-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI)

Next up, the Bucks confront the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Pine River Area will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
