The PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to 37 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejays now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Berlin for a Sangamo contest on Tuesday, January 31. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will battle a Pretzels team coming off a 48-30 league win over Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 19-4.

The Trojans (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Cougars enter the Sangamo contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Illini Central was defeated by Delavan (Delavan, IL), 47-29, in a league contest.
