The Matthews Christian Academy Colts basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Victory Christian Cardinals to 28 in the Colts non-league triumph on Friday.

The Colts now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tabernacle Christian for a NCCSA A West Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Matthews Christian Academy will battle a Ram team coming off a 65-53 league loss to Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC). The Ram record now stands at 3-14.

The Cardinals (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Area Christian Academy (Morganton, GA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Mountain Area Christian Academy was defeated by Friendship Christian (Suwanee, GA), 69-60, in a non-league contest.
