California High School Basketball - Mercer Christian Academy holds off Valley Christian Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers (Princeton, WV) and the host Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA), saw Mercer Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Valley Christian Academy by a tally of 20-16.

With the victory, Mercer Christian Academy improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Greenbrier West lost 63-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Summers County (Hinton, WV)

Next up, the Lions confront the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Valley Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record.
