The Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) basketball crushed the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 75-50 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans go into the Twin Lakes test with a 12-3 record.
The Titans now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Valley for a Twin Lakes test on Tuesday, January 31. South Central Calhoun will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 82-41 league loss to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-14.
