In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars basketball team scored a good 71-62 triumph over the Whitman Vikings.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Quince Orchard will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record.
With the defeat, Whitman moves to 11-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, January 30. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 13-3. Sherwood won 70-61 in their recent league match against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
