The Trinity Celtics basketball team (Hutchinson, KS), was overwhelmed 51-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS)

The Knights now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast of Saline for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Sacred Heart will confront a Trojans team coming off a 63-43 non-league win over Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 12-1.

The Celtics (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bennington (Bennington, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Bennington trounced St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS), 66-32, in a non-league battle.
