The Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), 33-27 in Friday's league test.
The Broncos (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Berthoud (Berthoud, CO). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Berthoud got by Wray (Wray, CO), 58-48, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1.
