Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) and the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC), saw Anacostia's basketball squad wallop Roosevelt by a count of 47-14.

With the victory, Anacostia upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Indians host School Without Walls (Washington, DC) to play the Penguins in a DCSAA challenge on Monday, January 30. The Penguins come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Roughriders play the Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA challenge, on Monday, January 30. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to SEED DC (Washington, DC).
