The Tartan Titans basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Apple Valley Eagles to 33 in the Titans non-league victory on Friday.
The Titans now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mahtomedi for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Tartan will battle a Zephyrs team coming off a 72-49 league win over North (North St. Paul, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 11-5.
The Eagles (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Minutemen come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, St. Paul Central triumphed over Highland Park (St. Paul, MN), 44-37, in a non-league contest.
