Arlington Eagles (Arlington, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Everett Seagulls (Everett, WA), 61-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Arlington upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA) to play the Stormrays in a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Stormrays go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Shorewood won 34-23 in their recent league bout against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA)

Next up, the Seagulls play the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 48-35 league win over Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
