Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA), 58-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arvin upgrades its record to 7-16 on the season. The Bears host Selma (Selma, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Selma lost 33-32 in their recent league bout against Kerman (Kerman, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) in a South Sequoia bout, on Monday, January 30. Wasco will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 35-33 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA).
