The Chewelah Cougars basketball team (Chewelah, WA), was overwhelmed 59-29 in Friday's league battle with the host St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA)
The Dragons now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reardan for a 2B Bi-County battle on Saturday, January 28. St. George's will confront a Screaming Eagles team coming off a 46-33 league win over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Crusaders come into the 2B Bi-County battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Northwest Christian School trounced Davenport (Davenport, WA), 37-36, in a league battle.
