In Friday's non-league outing, the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), by a margin of 58-26.
The Black Panthers (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Pine Ridge was trounced by Todd County (Mission, SD), 63-34, in a league outing.
The Cowboys now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Avon for a B Region 5 outing on Monday, January 30. Colome will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 65-58 league win over Burke (Burke, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 5-7.
