Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) and the visiting Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), saw Northwest Christian School's basketball squad hold off Davenport by a count of 37-36.

With the victory, Northwest Christian School upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA) to play the Cougars in a 2B Bi-County challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Chewelah lost 59-29 in their recent league challenge against St. George's (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Gorillas play the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 46-33 league loss to Reardan (Reardan, WA).
