The Howard Tigers basketball team (Howard, SD), was nudged 61-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD)
The Rustlers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Ethan will battle a C-Hawks team coming off a 58-25 non-league win over Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The C-Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
The Tigers (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland was nudged by Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD), 43-29, in a non-league battle.
