Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River overwhelmed by King's Fork

The King's Fork Bulldogs basketball team scored 100 points and restricted the visiting Indian River Braves to 40 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeastern for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. King's Fork will battle a Eagles team coming off a 67-35 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 17-0.
The Braves (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks come into the Southeastern contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Hickory was routed by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 51-20, in a league contest.
