The North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) basketball crushed the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 71-25 in Friday's non-league test.
The Titans (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 8B test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Cedar Shoals was trounced by Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 65-52, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Cristo Rey Atlanta for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Johnson will encounter a squad coming off a 41-33 league win over Fulton Science Academy (Alpharetta, GA). The record now stands at 6-9.
