The Lewis Angapak Blue Jays basketball team (Tuntutuliak, AK), dropped 54-46 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat Seahawks (Quinhagak, AK)
The Seahawks now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kwigillingok for a 1A Alaska Coastal battle on Saturday, January 28. Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat will battle a Eagles team coming off a 28-18 league loss to Eek (Eek, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
The Blue Jays (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kongiganak (Kongiganak, AK). The Wolverines come into the 1A Alaska Coastal battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Kongiganak prevailed over Eek (Eek, AK), 53-42, in a league battle.
