Lawrence Upper Lions (Sagamore Hills, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH), 44-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Lawrence Upper upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Horizon Science Academy (Lorain, OH) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Open Door Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 37-22 league loss to Crestline (Crestline, OH).
