Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD), 50-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lennox upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Orioles host Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to clash with the Huskies in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. West Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
