The Wayne Falcons basketball team (Corydon, IA), dropped 49-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA)
The Tigers now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a Pride of Iowa - West battle on Monday, January 30. Lenox will battle a Eagles team coming off a 67-35 league loss to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-15.
The Falcons (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The Cardinals come into the Pride of Iowa - East battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Central Decatur beat Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 59-46, in a non-league battle.
