The Norwood Mustangs basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Norton Lancers to 44 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkinton for a Tri-Valley contest on Tuesday, January 31. Norwood will battle a Hillers team coming off a 54-30 league loss to Medway (Medway, MA). The Hillers record now stands at 3-9.

The Lancers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bellingham (Bellingham, MA). The Blackhawks enter the Tri-Valley contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Bellingham was nudged by Westwood (Westwood, MA), 52-12, in a league contest.
