West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA), 46-7 in a league bout.

With the win, West Feliciana upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Saints host Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Central lost 48-14 in their recent league bout against Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Tara will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 53-24 league loss to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA).
