With the win, East Central moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Judson (Converse, TX) to battle the Rockets in a 6A Region 4 District 27 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Judson lost 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX)

In their next game, the Bears battle the Fox Tech Buffaloes (San Antonio, TX) in a 4A Region 4 District 27 bout, on Wednesday, February 1. La Vernia will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Poteet (Poteet, TX).
