In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Laredo LBJ Wolves soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls).
The Wolves (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region 4 District 30 battle with a 6-4 record.
The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Aggies come into the 4A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Poteet was nudged by Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX), 11-2, in a non-league battle.
