In Friday's non-league test, the host Irondale Knights ice hockey squad scored a close 3-1 victory over the South St. Paul Packers.

The Packers now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. South St. Paul will confront a Scots squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Scots record now stands at 7-3.
