Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Phillipsburg upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Northern Valley (Almena, KS) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 2-4.
