In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Steele Knights.
The Bobcats (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 1 District 2 battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Midland nipped Amarillo (Amarillo, TX), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the 6A Region 4 District 27 battle with a 3-5 record.
