Ohio High School Basketball - Archbishop McNicholas tops Turpin

Archbishop McNicholas Rockets (Cincinnati, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH), 70-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop McNicholas upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH) to play the Eagles in a Greater Catholic - Central bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Spartans play the Little Miami Panthers (Morrow, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Turpin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 58-49 league win over Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH).
