South Dakota High School Basketball - Britton-Hecla edges Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah]

The Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD), 44-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Braves (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Sisseton (Sisseton, SD). The Redmen go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Sisseton was tipped by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 62-47, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] for a B District 1 test on Tuesday, January 30. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND). The Bison record now stands at 10-5.
