California High School Basketball - Mission College Prep nips Buena

January 27, 2024: Ventura, CA 93003

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) and the host Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA), saw Mission College Prep's basketball squad hold off Buena by a count of 57-53.

With the victory, Mission College Prep upgrades its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Arroyo Grande (Arroyo Grande, CA) to play the Eagles in a Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. Arroyo Grande won 50-43 in their recent league challenge against San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Monday, January 29. Buena will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 69-53 league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).
