In Saturday's non-league outing, the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Northwest House (Seattle, WA), by a count of 68-62.
The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Lions go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Lynden held off Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 66-41, in a league outing.
The House now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Summit Sierra for a 1A Emerald Sound outing on Monday, January 29. Northwest will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 78-40 league loss to Bush (Seattle, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-5.
