Texas High School Basketball - Burton Adventist Academy can't hold off Spencerville Adventist Academy

The Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Burton Adventist Academy Angels to 30 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington International for a Potomac Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30. Spencerville Adventist Academy will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 58-49 league win over Field (Washington, DC). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-1.

The Angels (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Victory Christian Academy (Decatur, TX). The Patriots enter the TCAF District 2 contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Victory Christian Academy nudged Heritage Christian Academy (Haslet, TX), 67-16, in a league contest.
