Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Byhalia Indians (Byhalia, MS), 85-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olive Branch upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Conquistadors host Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 15-10. Saltillo won 67-61 in their recent league bout against South Panola (Batesville, MS)

Next up, the Indians play the Senatobia Warriors (Senatobia, MS) in a 4A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Byhalia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 55-37 league loss to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).
