New Mexico High School Basketball - Deming ripped by Cathedral

The Cathedral Fighting Irish basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Deming Wildcats to 37 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Cathedral will meet a Panthers team coming off a 54-13 non-league win over Patterson Institute (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-17.
The Wildcats (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the 4A District 3 contest with a 6-13 record.
