Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Yellowjackets (Louisville, KY), 75-69 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oldham County upgrades its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Collins (Shelbyville, KY) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Collins lost 56-52 in their recent league bout against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY) in a District 25 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 83-55 non-league win over Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY).
