Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) and the visiting Church Farm Griffens (Paoli, PA), saw Great Valley's basketball squad hold off Church Farm by a tally of 49-45.

With the victory, Great Valley improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Collegium Charter (Exton, PA) to confront the Cougar in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Cougar come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Griffens confront the Calvary Christian Academy Cougars (Philadelphia, PA) in a Bicentennial challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Church Farm will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
