Craig Panthers (Craig, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hydaburg Warriors (Hydaburg, AK), 76-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Craig upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Panthers host Metlakatla (Metlakatla, AK) to play the Chiefs in a 2A Southeast bout on Friday, February 2. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Metlakatla won 51-35 in their recent league bout against Haines (Haines, AK)

Next up, the Warriors play the Hoonah Braves (Hoonah, AK) in a 1A Southeast bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Hydaburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
