The Simley Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Cristo Rey Jesuit to 53 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Two Rivers for a AAA Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Simley will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 72-55 league loss to St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 6-11.

Next up, the clash with the St. Agnes Aggies (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cristo Rey Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 4-27 season record.
