Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Dragons (Akron, OH), 78-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Royals travel to Manchester (Akron, OH) to play the Panthers in a Principals bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Manchester lost 71-48 in their recent non-league bout against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH)

Next up, the Dragons play the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 92-56 league win over Lake (Uniontown, OH).
