The De Smet Jesuit Spartans tipped the visiting Moline Maroons basketball team by a final score of 60-56 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the St. Louis University Junior Bills (St. Louis, MO) in a Metro Catholic game, on Friday, February 2. De Smet Jesuit will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record.

With the defeat, Moline moves to 19-4 on the year. The Maroons travel to Quincy (Quincy, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a Western Big 6 game on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 21-2. Quincy won 58-41 in their recent non-league game against Batavia (Batavia, IL)
