In Saturday's non-league outing, the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Design Tech Dragons (Redwood City, CA), by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Falcons go into the Santa Cruz Coast outing with a 12-12 record. In their last outing, Scotts Valley was tipped by Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA), 76-63, in a league outing.

The Dragons now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to The Nueva School for a Private School - North outing on Tuesday, January 30. Design Tech will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 65-52 league loss to Kehillah (Palo Alto, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 12-6.
