The Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) basketball nipped the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), 78-72 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers - West test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Sherrard was tipped by Morrison (Morrison, IL), 57-47, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 14-11 record. They play next when they host River Ridge for a Northwest Upstate Illini - West test on Tuesday, January 30. East Dubuque will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 69-67 league loss to Galena (Galena, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
