The LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls (LaBelle, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting Family Christian Academy Mustangs (Port Charlotte, FL), 72-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Lemon Bay (Englewood, FL). The Manta Rays go into the 4A District 12 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Lemon Bay went down by Port Charlotte (Port Charlotte, FL), 64-62, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Southwest Florida Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Family Christian Academy will encounter a King's squad coming off a 78-68 non-league loss to Donahue Catholic (Ave Maria, FL). The King's record now stands at 10-10.
