Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 45-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Salt Fork upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Watseka (Watseka, IL) to play the Warriors in a Vermilion Valley bout on Friday, February 2. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-9.

Next up, the Bunnies play the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Fisher will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL).
