Michigan High School Basketball - Fitzgerald nips Goodrich

Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Goodrich Martians (Goodrich, MI), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fitzgerald upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Spartans host Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Warren Woods-Tower won 56-37 in their recent league bout against South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI)

Next up, the Martians play the Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI) in a Flint Metro bout, on Monday, January 29. Goodrich will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 66-44 league loss to Lake Fenton (Linden, MI).
