Colorado High School Basketball - Golden overwhelmed by Lutheran

The Golden Demons basketball team (Golden, CO), was overwhelmed 72-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO)

The Lions now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheyenne Mountain for a 5A/4A Pikes Peak battle on Wednesday, January 31. Lutheran will battle a Red-Tailed Hawks team coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 2-16.

The Demons (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Panthers come into the 5A/4A Jeffco battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Pomona was overwhelmed by Evergreen (Evergreen, CO), 60-48, in a league battle.
